The 19s are for the racer looking for that quick and nimble wheelset able to jump
from underneath you up the climbs, or accelerate on rails out of a criterium corner.
The Williams' custom designed 19s are race proven as one of the most durable,
best handling, and fastest alloy clinchers in the world. Williams Hybrid Ceramic Bearing Technology lowers rolling resistance, increases durability, and improves stiffness in the hubs of all Williams wheelsets - a benefit especially noticable in the ability of the 19s to accelerate in the sprints or uphill.
At 1440 grams, the 19s have been designed to find that point of balance between
an ultra-light clincher wheelset that will also offer solid, dependable bike handling
ability under the most extreme of conditions. 180 pound rider weight limit, etc.

Williams Cycling asked me to test out their new System 19 wheelset.
In this day of super sexy deep-dish carbon hoopla...the 19s look a bit old-school with their 20front / 24rear bladed spokes and low-profile rim selection. Let me tell you, though - they are anything but retro.
The System 19 design is all about acceleration. In fact, tests at the UC Davis Physics lab showed that Williams 19s are one the best accelerating alloy clinchers in the world...and at half the price of its intended competition. So, that's what they tell me...now let me tell you how the wheelset has played underneath me in races.
